Fab Friday: 20th

On the 22nd it will be one whole year since my first published piece came out on Modern Salt, and I’m still thrilled with it. I’ve come such a long way with my food writing, and I have so many more bylines to conquer, but I must say I’m pretty pleased with myself. You can read all about it here.

This past week has been a bit odd and all over the place. If you read Chani like I do, you’ll know why. Honestly, I never really used to buy the whole horoscope thing until I began reading her horoscopes. Chani is very clear about taking what you need and leaving the rest, and she preaches self-care and good sense, and she’s awesome. Read her work here.

I’m slightly obsessed with these strawberry rhubarb cinnamon rolls from The Almond Eater. Look at that cinnamon roll-y goodness. I can’t handle it.

Or maybe you’d prefer this vegan rose raspberry ripple ice cream from Wallflower Kitchen? If you live in the southern hemisphere – or you’re stuck in the tropics like I am – you would. It’s glorious.

Finally, I have been obsessed with this song over the past two weeks or so. I love Of Monsters and Men so much, so I’m sharing the love.
